The terms and conditions provided below apply between Jazz Break asbl (here-after Jazz Break) and participants to all Jazz Break activities (such as, but not limited to, classes, workshops, training nights, social dance nights).
Please read these rules concerning registration process, refund policies and other general rules, before proceeding with your registration. By participating in Jazz Break's activities and entering the relevant location, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as to our Code of Conduct and to our Privacy Policy.
Registration for Jazz Break activities are done via our online registration system. By submitting your registration, you confirm your intent to participate in the selected activity. Submitting your registration does not guarantee your participation in that activity, since the number of available spots is limited and determined by Jazz Break. Furthermore, Jazz Break reserves the right to establish prior admission proceedings or auditions for some activities (such as advanced training).
A registration fee must be paid within 7 days following the confirmation, by Jazz Break, of your registration. If you do not pay within this period, your registration is not complete and your place in the activity is not guaranteed. In other words, Jazz Break cancels your registration in that case. If you still want to join our activity, you need to register again.
Once you paid your registration fee, your registration is valid for the chosen activity.
If you wish to change your registration, please proceed as follows: in case you have registered but have not paid the registration fee yet, cancel your registration and then register for your new activity. If you have registered and already paid your registration fee, please contact us on info@jazzbreak.lu. Changing your registration is only possible in the limit of available spots.
By registering for our activities through our website and/or attending the event in any capacity, you also agree to the terms and conditions outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Jazz Break reserves the right to modify the planning and to cancel an activity in case the minimum number of participants is not reached or in case of unavailability of the teacher(s) and substitute teachers.
In case of cancellation by Jazz Break, all participants who have already paid their registration fee will be refunded.
Changes on the teachers, bands, and DJ line-ups for Jazz Break activities are not considered as cancellation and no refund is possible.
If you wish to cancel your booking for an activity that you have already paid, please contact info@jazzbreak.lu as soon as possible and communicate your intent to cancel your registration.
In case of cancellation communicated to Jazz Break 2 weeks before the relevant activity, a 90% refund is offered. In case of late cancellation (i.e. later than 2 weeks before the relevant activity), no refund is possible irrespective of the reason for your inability to attend the activity.
Additionally, keep in view that it is possible to transfer or sell your booking to another person of your dancing level. For more information on this matter, please contact info@jazzbreak.lu. Note that it is essential to inform Jazz Break at least one week before the start of the activity of your wish to transfer your booking.
Jazz Break asbl and its organizers, teachers and all volunteer staff cannot be held responsible for any incidents, accidents, injuries, thefts, loss of or damage to personal property that might occur to participants to activities organized by Jazz Break for whatever reason. Damage claims against the organizers are not possible. Participants are liable for damages to rooms, objects and to third parties caused by themselves. Please take care of yourself and be mindful of others.

Jazz Break reserves the right to refuse admittance or request departure from the venues of our activities to any individual — participant, artist, staff member, or otherwise — who fails to comply with the guidelines outlined in our Code of Conduct. Be aware that no refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
By attending Jazz Break activities, you agree to the Terms and Conditions regarding refunds and registrations outlined above, to our Code of Conduct and to our Privacy Policy.
By registering, volunteering or participating in Jazz Break activities, you grant permission for Jazz Break to use photographs and/or videos of you taken during those activities in publications, news releases, social media, online, and in other communications related to the mission and activities of Jazz Break as well as the promotion thereof. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding your image being taken, please contact info@jazzbreak.lu in advance.
If you see a picture or video featuring you that you would like us to delete, please reach out to info@jazzbreak.lu and the published content will be unpublished and also removed from our archives.
